Denver Tech Center History -
The Denver Technological Center was founded by George M. Wallace in the 1960s. His goal was to get away from the congestion of downtown Denver after receiving a scratch on his brand new car in a crowded parking structure. He thought he'd start by building a 5-acre office park, but wound up buying 40 acres instead. Solution? He decided to develop the excess real estate. The rest, as they say, is history.
